Tip: When the weather turns cold, get out there and run - NikeRunning.comPublished by
When the weather turns cold, get out there and run As the temperature drops it's easy to turn to the treadmill or swap a run for a cross training workout. That said, there's something rewarding about a solitary run in inclement weather. The fact that you'll see fewer runners is, in an odd way, empowering. You feel a sense of accomplishments after a cold weather run that you do not experience following a summer run. While I'm not saying you have to run outside everyday (because that's nearly impossible in some climates), I do encourage you to venture out in less than ideal running weather, knowing that you'll be grateful you did once your run is complete.
